Rolwaling valley is the neighboring valley of the SoluKhumbu (Mt Everest region). Similar in culture to the Sherpa people of the Everest region without the crowds. A land of wonderful Himalayan views, mystery and superstition. According to the legend, a monastery named Kher Shambala mysteriously disappeared into the earth.
This trek is considered as a medium difficult trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure you will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not to experience high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to made during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.
As the trek is designed for basic tea house/camping arrangement, everything is handled by our team of guide/porters/sherpas and cooks who carry the equipment, set up the camp and have hot meals waiting for you at every food break
Day 1:Arrival/Pick up from airport to hotel.O/N Kathmandu.
Day 2:Official formalities/Day trip city sight seeing.O/N Kathmandu.
Day 3:Drive by private jeep from Kathmandu to Sinagati (950m).
Day 4:Trek Sinagati to Jagat (1150m).
Day 5:Trek Jagat to Simigaoun (1990m)
Day 6:Trek Simigaoun to Beding (3690m).
Day 7:Trek Beding to Na (4180m).
Day 8:Rest day for acclimatization.
Day 9:Trek Na to Kabeug (4561m).
Day 10:Trek Kabeug to Tasi Lapcha Phedi (5300m).
Day 11:Trek Tasi lapcha Phedi via tasi lapcha pass (5755m) to Ngole (5110m).
Day 12:Trek Ngole to Thame (3820m).
Day 13:Trek Thame to namche Bazar (3440m).
Day 14:Trek Namche Bazar to Phakding (2610m).
Day 15:Trek Phakding to Lukla (2840m).
Day 16:Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.
